MLK Day

Today we didn't have much going on.  Andy had to work and Syd was off of school.  So after Foster's nap we packed up and went to Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz.  Traffic was awful and by the time we got there Foster's face was covered in dried snot (nice, eh?) from the crying he did on the way over the mountains.

From October - January monarch butterflies hang out in the eucalyptus grove at this beach.  We caught the tail end of them, saw around 100 butterflies.  It was still pretty cool.  Then we hit the sand and water for a bit before heading home.  It was a nice afternoon, overall.

We don't have much else going on these days.  Andy's working hard at getting the Pre ready to ship. I'm trying to keep my head above water with the kiddies.  Foster has been working on cutting his top front teeth for weeks now and it is painful for all of us.  Hopefully they will make their appearance soon.  He has also been on the verge of crawling for several weeks now... soon, I'm sure!

The Pre...

Well, the word is finally out.  Andy has been working his butt off on the new Palm Pre.  His team(s) worked on the operating system, which everyone now knows is called WebOS.

We are very proud of Andy and all the work he's done on the phone.  It is getting lots of good press and we are very hopeful that it will, in fact, turn Palm around!

Ears Pierced!

Sydney finally convinced me to let her get her ears pierced!  We were at Foster's doctor's office and they pierced ears there, so we had it done.

Immediately afterwards Sydney yelled "I DIDN'T CRY!!!"

She's growing up so fast...

First Cheerio

A few days before Christmas, when he was still well, we gave him a cheerio to try.  He did great and now he eats them reguarly!

Happy New Year!

We are all doing ok around here.  Foster is still recovering from his cold as am I (I don't think I mentioned that I had it, also).  In fact, on New Year's Eve he woke up at 10:30pm coughing like mad and was coughing so hard he gagged and threw up all over me!  Happy New Year!!  :-)  Such is life with a baby, right?

Craig left New Year's Eve in the morning.  Andy drove him to SJC at 6am and he made it to DSM by mid-afternoon our time.  We had a great time with him.  We had guests staying with us from Dec 22nd - Dec 31st, with one night of over-lap (Mike and Craig).  We really enjoyed having them both here.  Syd had a blast with Uncle Goggy, as evidenced by the photos!

Andy is working like mad these days.  Palm is making a big announcement at CES next week - so look for them in the news on Jan 8th (also our moms' birthdays!).  I will be a single mother from Jan 7th - Jan 11th.  Not looking forward to that, but Andy will enjoy the down-time the weekend after the announcement hanging out with Deb & Bill.  We will miss him, though!
